hello everybody,
i have a little problem with character encoding in gnome
the version currently installed is 2.12.1 but i had the same problems on different machines with different versions
when i run gnome in english (system default) everything is fine, but when i try it in english, some chars are not displayed correctly
maybe two screenshots say more than 1k words
any help appreciated

If you haven't enabled unicode yet, have a look at the unicode guide.
Also, check the output of 'locale'. If locales aren't UTF-8, that might explain the messed up letters. _________________ Gnome:
