I'm planning to buy a Belkin UPS 1200VA from the "universal series". I have trouble trying to find info it it's supported under linux... Here's a link: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=201530&pcount=&Product_Id=153777&Section.Section_Path=%2FRoot%2FPowerProtection%2FUPSUninterr%2E%2E%2EerSupply%2FUninterr%2E%2E%2EerSupply%2FBelkinUn%2E%2E%2EeriesUPS%2F
Does anyone have info about it?

Another question, I have 2 computers I want to put on that UPS. Here are configurations:
Config1:
Code:
AthlonXP 2500+
nForce2 chipset
DVDRW NEC
CDRW NEC
2x Hitachi HDD 80GB 7200RPM
2x256MB DDR-RAM
Ati Radeon 9550

Config2:
Code:
AthlonXP 1800+
CDRW Sony
1x Maxtor HDD 80GB 7200RPM
2x256MB SD-RAM
Ati Radeon 9200SE

I also want to hook up LCD 17" monitor, so I wonder can I take Belkin's 800VA ups, or should I go with this stronger one, 1200VA?

jsosic,

I would go with the bigger UPS, the 800VA will probably be OK when its new but the lod up time will drop as the battery ages.
the 1200VA will allow for that.

Also I've found info, and Belkins 1200VA & 800VA Universals work with NUT on Linux/BSD/Solaris/AIX/HPUX :)

Thanx
