[Solved]Problem using GPG with KMyMoney2...

Hello...

I'm trying to teach myself how to use GPG with KyMoney2...

I have KMM2 working satisfactorily with GPG, until I try to incorporate "Recovery encryption" using the "kmymoney-recover key"... When I select that option, KMM2 fails to save its current session.

I'm new to KMM2, and I'm very much a novice with GPG. I suspect the problem is with GPG, but I'm not sure how to go about solving it. With regard to the kmymoney-recover key, all I did was was to download it and import it into GPG. Should I perhaps have done more?

Does anyone have advice on how to troubleshoot this??

Edit: fingerprinting and signing the imported kmymoney-recover key solved the problem...

Wish someone would tell me why
