I got my wireless connection wireless connection working perfectly on my one AP (and others).
But no i have a second ap/adsl modem and i can't connect to it. I've tried just about everything but dhcp keeps failing.
I've tried with or without wep, with or without mac filter but it keeps failing to get a ip. The AP does see that i tried to connect.
The strange thing is that i do manage to connect using windows. Could it be the dhcp client that is not compatible with the AP
for information.
it's a Philips Wireless ADSL Modem
and i am using a IPW2200 wlan adaptor |

I've located the problem. It is the dhcp that just doesn't work. I don't know why or how i can fix it.
But for now i have reconfigured my network using static ip's.
Is this a known problems with other AP's?
Any fixes of other dhcp clients i could try. |
