how to fax with isdn?

yeah, i read many of those isdnfax threads, but its still not working for me. :-(

can anyone tell me what i have to do to get it work?
i emerged capi4k-utils, hylafax and loaded my fcpci module (got a fritz!pci), but nothing worked. well, the packages were installed successfully, but it doesnt work!

so i installed the capi4hylafax package and when i do a c2faxrecv -q /var/spool/fax [...] it seems to work, but if it answeres the call it hangs up the line and says it couldnt write into /var/spool/fax. though i gave permissions for the whole dir recursive a+x and the service is run by root!

when i try to send a fax per faxsend -n -d number file.tif it seems to be okay to, but it just doesnt send. its in the queue (faxstat) forever and dont get out.

anyone who got this thing working? :-(
