Ho una webcam usb che volevo usare in Gentoo-linux, ma malgrado abbia ricompilato il kernel per il driver, modproBBato i driver etc etc, se do un

e se per esempio provo a catturare un'immagine ( che in realtà nn esiste dato che la webcam non funziona) mi scrive:

So di molte persone con questo problema ... ma nn ho trovato una soluzion!!!

xawtv non credo che3 funzioni per le web cam come dice la descrizione (pero non mi stupirei che funzioni)

La riga con Microdia, rappresenta la mia webcam, malgrado essa sia una trust 120 spacec@m.
Inoltre, se scollego e ricollego la camera usb (con hotplug), il dmesg mi da :

Il device lo crea quindi prova mergiare gqcam e poi imposta il device /dev/video0 e vedi se funziona

senti vendi quella webcam e prenditi
come me ed altri una

che funziona da Dio, come scritto precedentemente nel forum.
La tua attuale webcam vendila pure su ebay.

Allora, ho un problemino con una cam simile e tiro su il thread.
Un mio amico mi ha dato la sua trust 120 perchè non la usava più, e ci stavo mettendo mano adesso che kopete supporta la videochat; ho messo (creando un ebuild) gli ultimi spca5xx che si trovano sulla homepage, e per essere quando dalla configurazione di kopete scelgo la cam, vedo qualcosa. MA malissimo, non si riesce praticamente a distinguere nulla (ok, la cam è quella che è  ). Sapte darmi una mano?

kopete di kde 3.5 supporta la videochat (bene o male)
Per la cam, mi osno accorto che aumentando molto la lice vedo meglio (ma non i colori cmq)
