|
|
Hey all!
I just emerged GNOME and I love it, but now I need an audio player. If I could get wine to run iTunes that would rock, but from what I have read it looks like native Linux players it is. XMMS seems too simple, so I am looking for an "iTunes" equivalent (or as close as one can get) for Linux. Any ideas? _________________ "You have to go outside the sequence of engines, into the world of men, to find the real originator of the rocket. I checked out Rhythmbox and it looks cool. Are there any other good ones? _________________ "You have to go outside the sequence of engines, into the world of men, to find the real originator of the rocket. I like mpd (Music player daemon) with either gmpc or pympd as a client. Both are very nice, though pympd is still at a quite early stage in development. |

I like muine, but it's not iTunes-like.
I just type the name of the album I want to play and then listen to it |

For me XMMS has the best Soundengine. Amarok has the best Usability. |
