I have dual nics on my mobo. My question is how do i get the most out of them. Sometimes when i'm gaming i'm doing large file transfers in the background to my server. Things like that.... now i dont have them both hooked up yet, but assuming i do, what extra steps should i do or what should i read about so i could configure them to be efficient.
thanks

If your router supports it, you could play around with bonding them, perhaps. _________________ ~~ Peter: Programmer, Mathematician, STEM & Free Software Advocate, Enlightened Agent, Transhumanist, Fedora contributor

i've got a wrt54g... if i throw openwrt on it and compile the bonding module (i think i saw it has it) then is that all that is needed?
bah this means i will have to learn iptables also though....
