I'm trying to synchronize my WindowsCE device (Smartphone) with KDE apps, at least the calendar, and I understood of several poeple in this forum it shoule be possible. But I cant get it to work.
I installed everything needed (and even unneeded); i have kitchensynk, synce(-kde), raki, multisynk, KDEPIM, kmail, kalendar, the kernel modules etc.
I can make a connection with the smartphone, browse its files, have the raki traybar icon connected, see the stats via raki and pstatus, etcetera. But no synchronisation. I understood the syncing plugins for KDE you see in raki still have to be written, and are just placeholders, and have to use kitchensynk, but that last program also I cant figure out.
So, can anybody point me in the right direction? _how do i actually synchronize my calendar_??
I believe i've seen that evolution can actually sync with synce, but i dont want to pull in 50Mb of packages (I dont have GNOME on my system) just to try out of, maybe, evolution (wich thus doesnt integrate in my desktop) will synchronize my calendar. If nothing else will help, i'll have to switch to GNOME, can anyboy confirm it'll work in there?
