hey.

i'm currently playing around with xcomposite and found that it will bork my fake transparency on my adesklets. is there a way to exclude certain applications from the extension and still have them use the fake transparency, or even better, is there any desklets out there, that actually support xcomposite?

adesklets is not really at stake, nor is XComposite; your problem is due to a bad interaction between ARGB visual and fluxspace, as previously explained here. As for your second question, gDesklets fully support XComposite.
