Hi everyone,
I got problems with nautilus very recently. My bacground is not display after login, and no window can be opened.
If I do a ps -ef | grep nautilus I get a bunch of processes actually with rt_sig label, whch apparently means that there is a thread of processes but not real different processes. Anyhow I've to kill nautilus i order to get my environment going well.
This problem appear after configuring my kernel 2.6.13.r5, I didn't changed so much things but the apm part, which seems to be far from my problem.
thanks for your help

I'm not sure how you configured your kernel, but if all you did was run "make menuconfig", chanses are menuconfig did not import your previous settings. So, make sure you have all the necesary options (as specified in the gentoo handbook) enabled. _________________ Nothing is what it seems to be. |
