I'm thinking of setting up a remote logging for syslog-ng so that my servers would log remotely to one of my workstations but so that they would also log locally too. Allowing me easily see logs both remotely and locally.
I've been reading about tunneling logs through ssh tunnel, but am unsure of how to do it as my workstations are behind a dhcp assigned DSL line and the servers are behind a static DSL line.
If someone has any suggestions on how to do this please let me know. Most preferably I would tunnel server <--> workstations traffic through ssh. _________________ Just because I have nothing to say is no reason why you shouldn't listen. |
