I have a HP z5000 series laptop with a built in card reader. I also have an SD card from "Dane Electric" on 1 GB. I have kernel 2.6.13 (with the new pcmcia interface). The card gets detected when i plug it in. This is the output:
Code: |
meadow 1.0 # pccardctl ident
Socket 0:
no product info available
Socket 1:
product info: "TI", "Ultramedia SD", "", ""
manfid: 0x0097, 0x1620
function: 4 (fixed disk)

I'm just wondering if I can make this card a device and actually use it. What device could I expect it to be on? I have checked dmesg, but it just spits out some memory ranges for pcmcia and nothing else upon insert of card. I tried a bit to guess the dev by cfdisk them (hde1 etc).
Any help would be very much appreciated.
