Hello ,
I installed gentoo in my device and everything is ok , I installed grub also. When I reboot my machine Gentoo start loading but it hang after this message "vesafb: scrolling: redraw" I don't know why.
Please help me. |

I am having the same troubles with my stage3-athlonxp install.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I was having this problem as well. For me, it was because my kernel was using vesafb-tng instead of vesafb. Recompiling with vesafb or no framebuffer support should fix it for you. If you used genkernel, I'm not sure how this applies to you. |
