dhcp - works on eth0 NOT wlan0
Similar to problem before emerge world , was caused by noapic boot parameter, however
with or without apic seems to not affect dhcp since I updated.
I'm guessing since dhcp works on eth0 but not wlan0 ,
and can scan wireless networks,
That I have no idea what is going, I've seen a million of these on google but nothing
with an answer.
I'm leaning towards a config file since I did emerge world, however what the hell
config messes with wireless dhcp , but not static dhcp?
Woe is me.
Please help thank you. _________________ The solutions are easy. Its finding them that is hard.

Chances are you are not authenticating with the WAP and this is why you are not being assigned an IP address. If you assign as IP address manually can you ping the DHCP server? |
