It was RPM on one of those other distros;
Until I couldn't do no more installs;
I love emerge;
I love emerge;
(sung while dancing around the room doing arsenio hall hand movements).
Emerge is AWESOME!! It, along with the value of this forum is worth all the Gentoo hassles encountered so far.

Aresenio Hall used to be a late night TV personality... he had his own show... similar to David Letterman and Jay Leno but never reached the stardom of those two late-night giants.... He was considered "hip" in the late 80's and early 90's and was known most for his flamboyancy and "coolness" among the younger crowd.
