I'm using autofs to mount my dvd drive. I can automount a udf dvd with the following entry in /etc/autofs/auto.media
Code: |
dvdrw -fstype=udf,ro,nosuid,nodev :/dev/dvdrw |
but then I can't mount iso9660 discs. I know with fstab you can specify the fs types seperated by commas, but this syntax for autofs seems to be different.
How can I specify fs type udf,iso9660 in autofs?

Why don't you just put auto in the fstype in fstab? As long as you have support for them it should recognize whet type of filesystem you have at mount. |

I'm not sure, but some discs are ifo/udf hybrids. Files over 2GB on these discs does not work if you mount the disc as an iso disc. Using auto will mount such a disc as iso9660 and not udf. That is why I want to use udf,iso9660 in that order. It works with fstab, I'm just having trouble getting autofs to use that order. _________________ Ladies and Gentlemen... we are floating in space. |
