Salve ragazzi...Vi pongo questo problema a cui non riesco a dare soluzione...
Non so se è Gentoo-Related (nel senso, se e' colpa degli ebuild o del software), perciò scusatemi in caso di errore e nel caso muovetemi nel subforum...
La questione è questa...Ho una Audigy 2 ZS, e nel mixer (sia kmix che alsamixer) non mi compare lo switch per rendere muto il canale master...
Qualcuno di voi ha lo stesso problema?
La versione di alsa è una qualunque dalla 1.0.8 alla 1.0.10rc3 (le ho provate tutte), il kernel è 2.6.13-gentoo-r3...

il problema dovrebbe essere il seguente:
sembra che tua bbia due schede audio sulla tua macchina
al momento: un integrato on board ed una audigy (confermi?)
hai 2 possibilità:
-rimuovi i drivers dell'integrato
-accedi all'audigy con

Su questo siamo d'accordo, cioè so di avere due schede...
E questo non mi causa problemi perchè riesco perfettamente a usare quella che mi serve...
Il problema è sul mixer della Audigy (cioè alsamixer -c 1) mancano i controlli per rendere muto il master e molte altre cose...

ok se il problema lo conosci, allora cerca di mettere in atto la soluzione 1
per vedere se il problema persiste, altro nn so dirti, a me ha risolto il problema
invertire l'ordine delle schede, il vedere qualche file di conf in piu' comunque aiuterebbe

Niente, l'ordine delle schede è giusto...ma non riesco ad ottenere i controlli muto

Cmq nessuno (giuro, e' l'ultimo up!  ) ha lo stesso problema? (a sto punto direi col modulo snd-emu10k1)
