I have a geforce card with a tv out on it.
Is there anyway I can have mplayer use the tv out while still being able to use my monitor to do work at the same time?
The only thing I've been able to do so for was: startx -- -config TVConfig :1 &,
then switch back and forth(hit F7 to work on the pc and then F8 to watch the movie playing)
Would like to figure out a way to have them displaying at the same time
Thanks |

Please do a search on the forums before posting, there are plenty of howto's and threads about this particular subject. _________________ TheCarNinja

Well sorry to assume, but you'd be surprised how many people don't do searches. I don't have the time right now, but the programs your looking for are Xinerama and MythTV, which should also help with your searching. If i have time later, ill try and find you some links.
Oh and you needn't be so sarcastic, it doesn't make me want to help you more _________________ TheCarNinja
