Is it possible to record what a mouse is doing and play it back? I know there are tons of strange programs for windows to do this but I couldn't find any for linux. I have tried a few half hearted things like cat-ing my /dev/input/mouse0 file to a text and then cat-ing it back into it in an attempt to write a script based on what worked. No luck. I would assume that this would closer to an X thing and if anyone could give me somoe hints on where to start with so many programs starting with 'x'.
Also would it be possible to have the mouse be clicking when it is held down rather than just a sustained click?
This is for a person who has significant diffulcties using a mouse and would have an easier time with pre-scripted events rather than duplicating them each time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |
