When I'm playing dvd's, subtitle font is very ugly in xine... I can't watch it... it has sharp edges and is far from smoothed. Can I use some ttf font instead? How did you fix this problem? |

I'm having a similar problem, except taht my subtitles are always ugly, not just the DVD Subtitles.
I switched to mplayer because there you can customize the subtitle in any way you want. You can also define the quality of DVD Subtitles.
Look at the mplayer man page for more info. Maybe something similar is possible in xine too, but again you will have to check the manual. |
