I edited inittab file and now a couple of things dont work

Hello, I am a gentoo linux noob. Before I edited my /etc/inittab I could start wlan as root and halt/reboot as normal user.

now I cannot halt /reboot as normal user and when I try to start wlan I get the following error:
"net.wlan0: cannot start until the runlevel boot has completed"

I have searched the forum and I have no idea of whats going on. Any help would be highly apreciated.
