and how do I get it running. After a fresh (re)install of Gentoo, upon reboot, the system hangs while bringing up eth0 and then fails with a error along the lines of Code: | Failed to start eth0
Problem starting needed services
"netmount"was not started | or soemthing very much like this. I cannot find anything in the kernel configs mentioning this and a google search was a little unilluminating. Can someone give me a push in the right direction, please. All of the otehr posts I found with this same problem do not seem to help. The card has worked under Linux/Gentoo for two years and even worked under the Live Eval/install. I am at a loss.
Thanks in advance.

Moving this thread from Installing Gentoo to Networking & Security. Hopefully someone there will have seen this before.

I have gotem it solved. I had to rebuild the kernel without NFS and Samba support. I a not sure which one was causing the problem, as I took them both out. I am goin to assume it was the NFS, for I don't know why. Thanks for reading though.
