Hi,
I've been using Squid with Adzapper for many years now, but after one of the recent updates (within the last month) to Squid, it stopped working. Now when I start squid, my load average spikes to 13 or 15 and my computer (naturally) slows to a crawl.
The only differences between my squid configuration and the default are:
- My cache_dir is 1G instead of 100M in size,
- I'm using AdZapper,
- I added a "localhost" acl to use squid on the same machine it's running on, and
- My visible_hostname is set to my hostname
Thanks for your time, |
