Hi,
I have a resume. I created it on my desktop at home with openoffice version 1. I opened the same document with the same version of open office on my school computer (also running gentoo), and it looks different. Is this because of fonts or what?

It could be fonts. It would help if you could post screenshots somewhere and post the links here. |

the thing is its not a drastic difference. For some reason it seems to add slightly more space inbetween lines on my school computer, and my resume is very tightly formatted, so it pushes lines over onto a second page when it should only be 1 page.
I will post screenshots as soon as I get back home and i can get one from my desktop computer as well.
How do i check for fonts? I have no clue where fonts are installed in linux, maybe i can do an md5sum on the two fonts on the computers to make sure the fonts are exactly the same |
