Hi, the problem is described in the title, for example bzflag crashes with:
bzflag: pcm_plug.c:67: snd_pcm_plug_close: Assertion `plug->gen.slave == plug->req_slave' failed.
Aborted
The error is identical (apart from the bzflag bit) for all 32-bit apps I try. For 64-bit apps, sound is working perfectly, so there is not a hardware problem. Here is a list of all installed packages which I believe are relevant:
media-libs/alsa-lib-1.0.14a-r1
media-libs/alsa-oss-1.0.12
media-sound/alsa-headers-1.0.14
media-sound/alsa-utils-1.0.14
app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-soundlibs-10.0-r1
I use the snd-hda-intel driver, but I don't think this matters. If anyone has any ideas, please help.
EDIT: I just needed >media-libs/alsa-lib-1.0.14_rc1 in package.mask to keep both arch's version of alsa-lib the same. |
