[solved] missing data

hi, i have a partition with fyle system fat32, so both operating systems gentoo and windows should recognize it, the question is that after mounting this partition in gentoo, windows xq doesn´t recognize this partition and wants to give it a format, can i recover the data which was in this partition? when i´m in gentoo and i get into /mnt/e (this is where i mount this drive) i dont see anything with ls, please help me
