You need a sort of Y-cable to plug the drive into two USB ports so that you can get enough juice to start it up. I am pretty sure USB power settings are buillt into the hardware and not something you can change. An alternative would be to use an AC adapter if the drive has one, or you can buy mini drives now that only need 1 port. _________________ It's all funny until someone gets hurt.
