Hi all,
I got some problems dowbloading torrents with opera. I read to do the following: download the torrent file, then open it (File->Open).. then there _should_ appear a box indicating a torrent-download and warning me, that I'll be sending data and the torrent is shared with others, but it isn't like that! This box doesn't appear and the torrent-download doesn't start.. Does anybody have a glue of what to do? I don't wanna install an extra client and I'm sick of using that mldonkey stuff.. |

Errm, you do need to have bittorrent installed:
and simply tell opera to open .torrent files with /usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py. I did hear that Opera was having a built-in client, but I doubt it actually does at the time being. |

Bittorrent support was only implemented in a few technology preview build and for what ever reason it was never implemented in full releases. This might be of some help to you. From the looks of it Opera probably won't be adding bittorrent to their final releases being that they have taken all information concerning the topic off of their main site. |
