|
|
When I fire up mac-fdisk and do my partioning as described in the handbook, I am never given the option to name a partition. This is a real problem if I want to create a swap partition.
I have looked around and honestly, I cannot find anything. Capital C doesn't help me much, lower case c gives me:
First Block:
Length (in blocks, kB ...):
Command (? for help):
so, for example, it looks like this:
First Block: 3p
Length (in blocks, kB ...): 512MB
Command (? for help): ?!?!?!?!?!?
Any advice is appreciated.

My error, I thought I got an error complaining about M at the end of the Length so I put MB.
PROBLEM SOLVED --> if you run into this problem, make sure you are specifying 512M without the B, it will make the length 512 megs and the name B...thanks to all who read this and would have helped. |
