I am not sure what this is trying to tell me. I severely doubt that the bash code has a problem. Any ideas?

When did you get it and how to reproduce, alternatively post your .config for that particular kernel.

The backtrace seems not to be decoded, could you verify you have ksymoops enabled in your kernel .config
or use the ksymoops tool to decode the trace manually.

No I don't have the command line to run, but you'll find easily with the help from "man" or google.
