I believe this started with the latest gentoo qmail upgrade. This hasnt affected my qmail performance at all .. but im wondering if this should be happening..

this is followed by a success mail delivery and acception by the receiving mail server.. but ive never seen this until recently.
Something i should worry about? seems its looking for some sort of auth before sending but sends anyway ..

| I wouldn't worry about it. I think there is an open bug due to Gentoo-flavoured Qmail saying it can offer AUTH even when it cannot. This might be a consequence of that. |

yuk! 
nast bug. err.. i mean annoying.. thanks.. i look at bugzilla.. we all know that gentoo-qmail is already a PIA.. but ill deal with it.. |
