So i read the message regarding the rsync problems. It tells you to change make.conf. Thats all fine and good on a system with vi, pico, ed, etc.. But during the install there are NO editors availible.. since im in the middle of an install, how the heck am i supposed to make these changes to get the ports down??? : |

Short answer: use nano.
