Hello,
first of all, onTV is a very nice & fine applet! I like it very much, but there is one really big mistake at onTV, the memory using!
I've got an amd64 with gentoo Linux (64Bit) and gnome 2.12 running with 1.5 Gb of RAM. When I start my OS and first login into gnome, my OS is using 420MB RAM, too much I think, so I'm searching why this is so.
I type "top" in my console to see which app is using so much memory, and what must i see? A pyhton-app is using 17% (!!!) of my RAM, okay i looked at the app-number and then i type "ps aux" in my console, to look which app has this number. And what do i see, it's onTV!!! onTV's python is using 17% of my RAM!!!! This is too much, can someone tell me why onTV is using so much?

well since onTV uses python it has to dump the python interpreter into memory. If this is a program that is like a tv schedule reader which is what Google says it would have to get the huge TV schedule and it might try to dump that in memory which would use a lot of memory (depending on how many channels, the length of the schedule, and formate of the file)

I hade a similar problem with revelation applet (gnome password manager using python). I think using interpreted language for an applet is always a little bit tricky...
