OK, I think this may be the most n00bish question ever, but I'm having a slight problem with Cedega. Just subscribed, downloaded the small file, then emerged. All went fine, and the program runs.

The problem is when you get to installing a game. I choose the correct exe, click continue... nothing.

I've run it from a console, and I get this error
Code:
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/home/sean/.cedega/TS/config'

Yeah, the file doesn't exist, but surely Cedega should create it itself, with the config values I set? I've also checked permissions, all seem OK, all set to sean:users. And I'm running it as sean.

Hope someone can help me, was hoping to cut out Windows as much as possible.
DarkWeaver.

Quick update: It seems to run OK as root (su'd), but of course I'd like to run it as a user.

Did the install finish cleanly? Cedega generates those files after the installer terminates...

Worst comes to worst, copy the file from root's version.

Well, that's kinda one of the problems, the install doesn't even start, that error happens before the install starts.

I just restarted, no change. Even the special Tiberian Sun installer doesn't work; it also errors out at a similar point. I think this may be due to permissions, but I can't see a problem with them. Everything under /home/ is owned by the correct user.
