|
|
Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to limit the bandwidth of a server. Basically, I wanted to limit my email server to only use, lets say a maximum of 60k/sec. This will ensure that if times are busy, there is still bandwidth available for other servers. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Namron

Linux has a sophisticated system for bandwidth provisioning called Traffic Control. This system supports various method for classifying, prioritizing, sharing, and limiting both inbound and outbound traffic.
