Hello guys,
I have installed my linux mail server on a separate machine and now I have to move a large number of unix users. I know I can type useradd and then copy&paste encrypted passwords from one shadow file to another but it will take ages! Do you know more efficient way? Maybe someone of you created script to do it?
Best regards!

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Other Things Gentoo
copy over /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow, and perhaps /etc/group too. And the user dirs in /home. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
