hi together, I emerged captive driver to access a ntfs-partition for r/w-operations.

my configuration:

installed version:
Quote:

root@gentoo:~# ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -pv captive sys-fs/fuse

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild R ] sys-fs/captive-1.1.5-r2 -debug -static 0 kB
[ebuild R ] sys-fs/fuse-2.4.1-r1 0 kB

installed ntfs.sys and ntoskrnl.exe from win2k-system. I do not habe a winXP system to get the drivers (does someone have with sp1 and could send me these files, hopefully that it would work?):

the "bug" says:

</bug>

ok, now the problem:
got my directory /mnt/test, and I want this as mountpoint.
Quote:

root@gentoo:~# ll /mnt/test/
total 0

I am going to mount my device:
Quote:

root@gentoo:~# mount -t captive-ntfs /dev/sda1 /mnt/test/
Captive NTFS v1.1.5. Check a new version at: http://www.jankratochvil.net/

but now /mnt/test disappears.
Quote:

root@gentoo:~# ll /mnt/test
ls: /mnt/test: No such file or directory

after an umount of /mnt/test, it appears again.

does someone have an idea where this comes from?
or could someone offer me the ntfs.sys and ntoskrln.exe from winXP sp1 system? I do only have from win2k system.

thanks in advance

greetings
ds
