Alright so I installed the Sep. version of Wine and all the dependices of it.
I have a ATI FireGL T2, so I got the ati drivers up and working.
But it wont even start... It installed though.
Can anyone help me? |

well, what does it say? any errors? does just nothing happen? post a bit more information about it |

| are you sure the ati drivers are installed correctly? do other games work? what system are you using? try to start wow with the mesa drivers and see if it also crashes. |

Yes my ATI Drivers are working, not sure if there is a special line I have to put in xorg.conf... Otherwise, Havent tried to play any other games. Trying the switch now.
EDIT:
Um should I unmask mesa and emerge?
Or is the xorg drivers good? |

what does glxinfo|grep direct say?
try emerging crack-attack or something
i don't think i emerged some mesa stuff, just try with the standard driver (should start but will most probably not be playable) |

the debug-traces look pretty much the same to me, the second one also mentions fglrx_dri.so, isn't that the ati driver which shouldn't be used? what does glxinfo say about that?
maybe try some other wine version/driver version/kernel/whatever, don't know what that could be
do you have another graphics card availabe? are you sure your ram is ok? (test with memtest86+)
try some more elaborate game like enemy-territory
do you use some funny cflags? |
