|
Hi,
What group do I need to add a user to be able to get access to the root directory ?
Right now I can not browse the root directory after a complete reinstallation of the system.
These are the groups my user are currently in:
wheel audio cdrom video games usb users locate portage p2p

Can you post your /etc/fstab?
And what's the output of ls -la when running with root? |

Thanks, chmodding the root fixed it.
I wasn't sure if this was because I wasn't added to a new group or something but I did change to go from a p4-stage3 instead of a stage-1 tarball this time.
Thanks |
