I'm trying to compile experimental Gentoo on AMD64 with GCC 4.1, initng, Xorg 7.0, KDE 3.5 etc.

But when I'm trying to compile groff, it fails with the log:
Code:

input.cpp:2369 error: 'process_input_stack' was not declared in this scope
input.cpp:2370 error: 'end_dicersions' was not declared in this scope
input.cpp: In function 'void process_input_stack()':
input.cpp:2661: error: 'title' was not declared in this scope

Any ideas why?

There was a patch I saw in the GCC 4.0 thread. Gimme a sec.

Edit: If you would have done a search for "GCC 4 Groff" it would have been your first result.

add
Code:
-ffriend-injection
to CXXFLAGS,
if you only patch groff, the issue will come back in following packages at some point....
