I've read some topics about mms handling, but sometimes things aren't that easy. I added appropriate network-protocol handlers in about:config, emerged xine-ui, plugins for kaffeine and mplayer. When I try to open mms links (mms://the-scorpions.com/scorpions/*.wmv), firefox wants to launch external application, but says it's... links! I've unmerged links, but still get this message. When I agree, it launches the application I set, but if it's:
-Kaffeine: freezes for a couple of minutes and crashes with this error details (plugin for mms not found):

-xine: launches, but it's window becomes a "black hole" where my mouse cursor disappears, but luckily when I move out of the window, it appears again 
So, is there anybody there who knows what's wrong and shows me the way to see my favourite clips? |
