i installed grub to my second hd by mistake. i then rebooted the computer and installed it the the correct hd after seeing i messed up. having grub installed to both hds wont mess up my computer in the future will it, and how would i go about uninstalling it from the second hd if i need to?

The presence of grub, or any boot-loader, on a particular drive is only relevant if that drive is actually selected for booting.

Actually, it's not a bad idea to have a known-good second copy of grub (and /boot, and other essential directories) on a second drive, so that you can boot to it if necessary.
