Sometimes after using Opera for some time, I can not input with keyboard.
I can't figure out problem.
Restarting Opera solved the problem. But why? |

Ask opera. The package is a binary, no source. I would also like to know why it's unusable with ibm jdk 1.5. |

I have had the same problem, except my problem happened upon startup. It hasn't happened to me in a long time. I had to emerge -e world a few weeks ago because of many PKG_CONFIG compile breakages. I don't think I had any problems with Opera since then.

You mean you recompiled everything and solved the problem?

I've seen some issues with 'keyboard deafness' and Opera. I normally get around it by:
- either pressing F9
- or entering <alt f n> to create a new page/tab and then closing <ctrl w> the new page/tab. The keyboard then 'works' on the page/tab that was 'deaf' to keyboard input.
