Hi
I went on with the process of configuring the X window.After running the "startx" command I get the following error

This is followed by an Fatal Error description stating that the X-server was unable to connect to server

The log file "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" would probably shed a bit more light on what's going wrong here.
You might also find the gentoo X guide to be helpful. |
