when i try to run alsaconf, it says i should close all apps using the sound driver
how do i stop apps using the modules? and how can i list the modules in use?
i compiled the drivers into my kernel as a module
this is my card:

i noticed lsmod does not give any output... so the modules are not loaded, how do i make them load?

is your problem, that you do not know how to manually load modules? if so...

so, in your case (I think the module is called so...)

how did you compile your kernel?
