My case seems to be different than others; basically fglrxinfo says I'm using the Mesa interface. I want hardware rendering.
Kernel 2.6.13
ATI Mobility Radeon X300 using ati-drivers
"opengl-update ati" didn't return any error, but I'm still on Mesa. How do I go about changing my setup to hardware acceleration?
emerge ati-drivers shows a message that says DRM support is enabled, and that's a problem. how do i fix that?
Thanks in advance.

I'm stupid, didn't know I had DRM enabled in the kernel... |
