I'm not sure if this is in the right place so I apologize in advance.
Is there a command line e-mailing tool that would allow me to send an e-mail? I've looked at mailx, email and nail but none of those support SSL authentication (I'm not sending the e-mail through an SMTP server on my localhost but rather the university mail server). Since this thing is going into a script I'm looking for something that does not need user interaction.
Thanks

Does pine have a non-interactive mode? I looked at the man page and it said that it was completely interactive. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, I overread this part...
How about using ssmtp? It supports SSL/TLS connections?

Ssmtp seems to work great. My only concern is that it is in /sbin and is not visible to the general public (i.e. unprivileged users). How would I handle the security here?
Thanks,
