|
|
I have a laptop with a single CDRW/DVD/CD-ROM drive.
I'v read the thread on how to enable your CDRW without all the SCSI stuff compiled or modulized in your kernel. But this thread seems to aim at people using a seperate CD-ROM and CD-RW drive.
My question is how do I get my combo working under Linux (preferably without all the SCSI stuff...)
I think the answer is in the above named thread, but because I'm a bit of a newbie when it come to hardware under linux I thought I will ask it directly.
INFO:
My current kernel config:
Code: |
"IDE, ATA and ATAPI Block devices"
<*> Include IDE/ATA-2 DISK support
<M> Include IDE/ATAPI CDROM support
<M> SCSI emulation support
"SCSI support"
<M> SCSI CD-ROM support
<*> Enable vendor-specific extensions (for SCSI CDROM)
<M> SCSI generic support
