|
|
Greetings..
I'm having a problem with openwebmail that's running on a Slackware my company uses as a mail server postfix-based.
With some accounts, when I try to log in on my openwebmail, I got the following message:
Quote: | Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. |
This happens with few accounts. Still I can contact the user's mailbox by telnet (list, retr) and I'm able to download the messages using a mail client, and for this reason I excluded the possibility of a postfix problem.
But, if I move/rename the mailbox file and log in on webmail, another mailbox file with size 0 is created automatically, and everything seems normal again. But it costs the user's last messages, so, I really don't want to proceed this way..
anyone knows how to fix this?
P.S.: forgive the english mistakes.. Thanks you all

Ok, I had to return here to show the solution:
As the messages was available through telnet, and for download in a mail client, I did some tests with my personal account on the server.
After distrust of the .openwebmailrc, with no success, I renamed my accout just to certify that the server would recreate it automatically. And it did it, as I expected. So, I porceed as follow:
- Downloaded the messages in a mail client, with no copies left on the server. Immediatelly the access through the openwebmail was restabilished!
